Inner spring, the time following our bleed (inner winter), feels like..
We’re the bears coming out of hibernation, looking up, and basking in the sun’s rays.
A nourishing breath of fresh air.
An energetic openness that inspires us to be present in all the joy & beauty in our life.
An energetic wandering in a meadow covered in blooming flowers.

Our inner spring embodies The Maiden archetype with all the rising estrogen growing our fertile potential that is connected to this energetic . . .

This openness allows the sun’s nourishing touch to invigorate us on a cellular level.
This openness allows life to find us and grow within us harnessing our overflowing abundant energy.
Even if you’re not ready to conceive life, this time still serves as a magical opportunity to harness this rising fertile energy to conceive whatever it is that you truly desire. It’s a great time to nurture and plan out those creative ideas, business proposals, or perhaps your dream travel itinerary.
Inner spring is that moment of clarity where you can plan your month in a way that taps into your wildest dreams. Think of your inner spring as a fresh start from that dark and cold inner winter that you just got out of.
It’s a beautiful time to tap into what your peak potential is signaling to you. Where do you envision yourself in five years? Where is your authentic blueprint leading you towards?
I know this sounds so lovely & so exciting, but what happens when this energetic openness and rise in energy feels overwhelming?
What if we’re coming out of a winter that shook us to our core, and even though we feel amazing, we end up feeling paralyzed by the multiple opportunities in front of us?
Have you ever been on a hike where you finally reach a stunning view and you begin to feel overwhelmed by how to process & metabolize the beauty?
When you begin to ask yourself, should I capture this essence through photos or videos or both? Should I meditate to tap into this energy? Should I journal & materialize this experience? How can I just bottle up this air? This view? This FEELING?? Which flowers do I smell first? Should I facetime my friends to share the view? It can be A LOT to witness raw beauty and not feel like you can't peacefully take it in for yourself.
I want to first emphasize that it’s only natural that you wish to save this moment and make it last as long as possible. It’s natural to LOVE feeling this high and desire to optimize how you experience life’s beauty.
And also.. it’s important to consider that spring will ALWAYS spring again. There is no end and no beginning to our womb's cyclical journey. Simply a flow of hormonal changes that will always lovingly make its way through its seasons as time allows it to.
You don’t need to worry about the fleeting nature of this fresh & clean energy because it’s always coming back for you. It’s not going anywhere.
This teaching changed the way I approach my inner seasons, savoring each and every one, even the less-pleasant-dark-ones, because I know that light always follows.
And when the light does arrive, I remind myself that the only way to truly and authentically enjoy this season is to stay present in my hopes and dreams, instead of feeling the existential dread that this season is merely fleeting.
So today, I wanted to share with you some tips on what helps me when so many fun, creative, and dreamy ideas flutter around my mind, making it difficult to catch the “right” one.
Remember, our inner spring serves as the light that gives us the clarity & energy for true discipline to focus on what we desire.
So when it comes to feeling overwhelmed and desiring to step back into alignment, consider the importance of your environment. It’s naturally a time to look outward and enjoy your surroundings, so if we’re feeling paralyzed and unable to take action, this could be a reflection of the space around us.
Inner spring is a magical time to harness the energy of our surroundings to help us focus, tap into our intuitions to unravel what we uniquely & truly desire in order to take inspired action.

Some Tips for Navigating the Overwhelm of Inner Spring:
SPRING CLEANING <3
Give yourself a time limit on how much time you have to clear, clean, & organize your physical space. Always start with the space where most of your creative ideas come through and where you do most of your work. Make sure your work space FEELS good. The more time you have to offer to your spring cleaning, the deeper you can alchemize the stagnant energy around you and freshen up your environment so that you can truly focus.
Clearing your space helps your inner world begin to tune in with your newly & freshly cleaned outer world.
Try not to distract yourself with a podcast or overstimulating music in the background - my best creative ideas come out for me while I’m doing the most mundane chores with just me and my precious thoughts, without any distractions.
Work with the element of AIR
Before, after, or during your spring clearing, open up your windows and let the fresh air enter your space.
Go outside and feel the wind on your skin. Watch the wind rustle between the trees, the branches, and the leaves. Again - no distractions, no podcasts, just you and your precious thoughts.
Practice Clarity Breathwork - using your breath (air) for greater awareness of the present moment. This practice increases energy levels while providing better mental or creative focus.
Less mindless consumption = less overwhelm
Let’s be honest, there will always be an insane amount of content to consume through all the apps, all the streaming platforms, all the online courses, which can cause an information overload with the capacity to affect our nervous systems. So while it’s incredible that we hold so much power and access towards all kinds of information, this can bring us deeper into analysis-paralysis. Trust that you have all you need within you to create and take inspired action without the need to constantly consume.
During inner spring, we want to create more than we consume. The more we consume, the more overwhelming that creating may feel.
Movement - As long as you're listening to your body's cues, any movement that you enjoy is perfect. Here are some ways I like to move my body and release excess stored energy for a clearer mind during my inner spring:
Power walk in nature
Hot yoga
Strength training with weights
Pilates
----------
All four of these tips are meant to ground you and dissolve all the distractions around you. Now is the time to focus on goal setting, future planning, and feeling so excited for all the abundance around you!
Always keep in mind that if you are feeling overwhelmed, your brain likely needs some time to process and clear out all the spiraling thoughts, which can easily be achieved through distraction-free presence in the mundane tasks or perhaps some time out in nature.
